Awarded with Standard Project by the Czech Science Foundation (GACR)

I am thrilled to share that I have been awarded a prestigious Standard Project grant from the Czech Science Foundation (GACR) for my project on Exploration of Ribosomally Synthesized Natural Product Diversity in Antarctic Extremophiles.
Hosted at Mendel University's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, this project marks a major milestone in my career, enabling me to establish my own research group. I look forward to uncovering unique bioactive compounds from these extraordinary organisms and contributing to the discovery of new natural products with exciting potential!
I am especially excited that this project will foster a valuable partnership between Mendel University, my co-applicants from Brno University of Technology, Helca Skutkova and Marketa Jakubickova, and the Czech Antarctic Research Programme at Masaryk University, where I am honored to serve as a senior member. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity to drive groundbreaking scientific discovery in one of the most extreme and fascinating environments on the planet!
